Join our team as a Customs Brokerage Entry Writer and help ensure seamless import operations while maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. What You'll Do:
✅ Enter customs data with precision to ensure smooth processing
✅ File Importer Security Filings (ISF) for ocean shipments
✅ Assist with product classifications for customs brokerage shipments
✅ Handle in-bond entries and bonded shipments
✅ Support the import department with excess shipments
✅ Audit and review brokerage files and payments to customs
✅ Classify commercial invoices using the U.S. Tariff Book and CROSS
✅ Manage import AMS data entry and HTS# transmission to U.S. Customs
✅ Prepare essential documentation, including 7501 and 3461 forms
✅ Specialize in remote location filing
✅ Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and documentation standards
✅ Arrange deliveries and process invoices for import accounts
✅ Ensure timely filing of ISF (at least 72 hours before shipment departure)
✅ Prepare delivery orders, coordinate with truckers, and track proof of delivery
✅ Process documents through the ABI system, ensuring timely customs releases
✅ Review and address Customs rejections and requests for information
✅ Take on additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
✔ 3-5 years of experience handling customs brokerage operations
✔ Solid understanding of freight forwarding and importation into the U.S.
✔ Strong knowledge of customs compliance and regulations
✔ Experience filing ISFs accurately and on time
✔ Familiarity with PGA entries (Partner Government Agencies)
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✔ Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
