Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond._ **Responsibilities** + Trusted Advisor: Be the beacon of knowledge and insight for our customers, offering strategic guidance and actionable recommendations to elevate their cybersecurity strategies. + Lead security incident handling for Defender Experts customers (e.g., oversee response, investigation, and resolution through coordination amongst stakeholders), ensure critical issues are tracked through resolution and escalated (if warranted). + Customer Engagement: Navigate effortlessly through various levels of our customers' organizations, from the CISO to the SOC engineer, building lasting relationships and fostering collaboration. + Customer Advocacy: Understand our customers' pain points, challenges, and aspirations, and champion their needs within our organization to drive continuous improvement. + Drive continued customer confidence and trust with the Defender Experts service, Microsoft Security products, and Microsoft. + Embody our culture and values **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development + OR equivalent experience. + 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity domain including but not limited to information Security, Security Operations Center (SOC), incident response or similar roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging threats. + 3+ years experience working with Microsoft Defender + 2+ years experience interfacing directly with customers **Other Requirements** Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: - This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. **Additional or Prefered Qualifications:** + 300-level proficiency in MDE and MDO, and 200-level in MDA, MDI and MDC preferred. Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
