Overview of the Design Studio Specialist role You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home, assist with their design needs, and promote ongoing engagement with our brand. Responsibilities Assist clients through in-store and in-home consultations to design their living spaces and drive sales. Conduct in-home consultations, including measuring and assessing spaces. Create and present design plans tailored to client needs and preferences. Stay informed about current sales and promotions to meet sales targets. Provide exemplary customer service, including gift services, merchandise locating, and special orders. Demonstrate extensive product knowledge of the design studio assortment. Criteria Strong communication, clienteling, and follow-up skills. Ability to manage complex orders across sales channels. Design experience preferred. Proven multitasking and prioritization skills. 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience; specialty retail preferred. Physical Requirements Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. using proper techniques. Full-time availability required; part-time associates should have weekend availability on at least two days, with flexibility for additional hours.
