Overview of the Design Studio Specialist role You will inspire customers to express themselves in their homes. You will assist customers and complete sales at the cash wrap, promoting continued engagement with our brand. Responsibilities Utilize design expertise to assist clients in store and in-home consultations regarding their living spaces to drive sales. Perform in-home consultations, including measuring and assessing living spaces. Create and present design plans based on client needs, style, and preferences. Maintain knowledge of sales and promotions to meet or exceed sales goals. Assist customers with services like gift wrap, registry, orders, and deliveries, demonstrating excellent service standards. Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment. Criteria Strong communication, clienteling, and follow-up skills. Ability to coordinate complex orders across sales channels. Design experience preferred. Ability to prioritize and multitask. 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience; retail experience preferred. Physical Requirements Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with proper techniques. Full-time associates should have open availability; part-time associates must be available on weekends and at least two weekdays, with flexibility for more hours.
