This position is located in Slat Lake City, Utah The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of Edward Jones Bank leads the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of a comprehensive three lines of defense risk management program for a de novo FDIC-insured, state-chartered ILC. The program will operate alongside the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program maintained by the bank's indirect parent company, a diversified financial services firm. The Bank CRO is part of the Bank senior leadership team, is responsible directly to the Bank President, and has direct connection into the firm's (CRO) and senior leadership of the Edward Jones ERM function. The role is also expected to provide the same leadership and functions to support the SBL LLC for as long as it remains operational. The Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program and leader will also be responsible to the CRO. Has demonstrated experience working with an enterprise level Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool Prior experience as a senior-level banking risk professional. Advanced knowledge of Bank administration, banking products and services, lending and operations. Expert understanding of state and federal banking laws and regulation. Ability to manage complex matters or processes. Excellent analytical, problem solving and evaluation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively work and influence within a matrix environment. Demonstrate ability to communicate with and represent to senior leaders, boards, committees and regulators.
